KashmirHosts was founded in 2015 by Gazanfar Khan, a native of Kashmir who grew up witnessing tourists struggle with natural challenges, security concerns, and widespread rumors about the valley. These early experiences inspired him to create a reliable and authentic travel service that could offer safe, transparent, and memorable journeys across Kashmir.

After completing his studies, Gazanfar worked with multinational companies in Hyderabad and Bangalore. During this time, he was constantly approached by colleagues seeking guidance on visiting Kashmir. He also encountered many travelers who had been cheated by fraudulent operators and lacked proper local guidance.
